Corequisites: None Description: Computer Local Area Networks (LAN) are thoroughly studied. Students learn the different topologies, terminology and theories that pertain to the field of networks. Operating systems, briefly discussed, include Linux and Windows servers. Students will study exam objectives for CompTia’s Network+ exam. Hands on experience will be gained by working with networked PCs in a lab or simulation environment.
It is also intended to serve the needs of individuals seeking to pass the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (Comptia) Network + certification exam.
