Corequisites: None Description: Schematic print reading and understanding the purpose for electrical standards and codes are essential for working safely on and understanding electrical systems. This course reviews the different types of electrical prints (concentrating on ladder diagrams). Students will learn the basics of reading electrical prints and how to create them using Computer Aided Design (CAD). Electrical standards are explained and students are taught how to locate information in the NFPA 70-National Electrical Code (NEC).
