Corequisites: None Description: CHI 102 is a follow-up course to CHI 101 . It continues the study of Chinese language, in which both characters (the vocabulary) and sentence structures are increased by volume as well as by complexity. Students are not only provided with more learning activities to practice reading, writing, and speaking Chinese, but also have a hands on experience to observe the cultural differences in Chinese language by attending cultural events held in the local Chinese community (e.g., field trip to the Chinese New Year Celebration Event).
