Description: This course introduces students to the exciting world of retail and the competitive retail industry. Students learn principles of retailing, types of retailers, franchising, multichannel and omnichannel retailing, customer buying behavior, retail marketing, location and site selection, merchandise management, supply chain, retail advertising, store design and layout, and customer experience.
