Description
Students learn the basics of web design, with a focus on user experience, usability, and human-computer interaction. In a hands-on environment, students are exposed to design technique principals to design and develop web pages. In addition, students publish to a web server and analyze web site functionality. Students should have experience with the Internet, fundamental computer literacy and knowledge of a computer operating system prior to taking this course.

Course is project based. Students will complete pre-designed sites to learn functionality of web design and will design and create two web sites using their own design.

Faculty Credential Requirement Details: The instructor must possess Adobe software knowledge, HTML5/CSS3 experience and knowledge, 200 hours of web programimg experience, and be able to clearly explain all topics covered in the course so that the student will be able to understand the concepts taught.
