2. Students will encounter and execute chamber vocal performance practice appropriate for small ensembles, distinguishing between solo vocal technique, large ensemble technique, and small ensemble technique.
3. Students will learn to discern which performance practice principles apply to ensemble repertory based on historical and stylistic cues in the repertory.
4. Students will recognize musicological frameworks around the diverse social, historical, cultural and geographical backgrounds of ensemble repertory.
5. Students will learn rehearsal protocols consistent with leading professional vocal ensembles.
6. Students will learn rehearsal preparation protocols consistent with leading professional vocal ensembles.
