Corequisites: None Description: This course introduces the fundamental physical poses, techniques, and basic philosophy of yoga. The aim of this course is to learn physical poses that help balance and link the aspects of the mind and body to build strength, flexibility, and develop mental focus. The physical and philosophical teachings of yoga are presented through demonstration and discussion. Overall goals of this course are improvement and/or balance of our body, mind, and release of stress and tension.
