Corequisites: None Description: This course introduces students to the role of the nurse in contemporary nursing practice. Content includes historical aspects of nursing, as well as concepts related to current trends in practice, professionalism, safety, and healthcare policies and guidelines. Dosage calculation using dimensional analysis is a key component of this course which requires current knowledge of basic algebra and related math skills.
