Corequisites: None Description: This course is designed as a laboratory science course for non-science majors and as a first course for students interested in a degree in an Earth science field. The course focuses on a broad range of Earth science topics including: plate tectonics, the rock cycle and minerals, natural hazards, the water cycle, weather, climate, geologic time, Earth history, and the solar system and universe.
