Corequisites: None Description: This course emphasizes an awareness of, sensitivity to, and competence in communication among all sexes and genders. Theories focus on family, friendship, romantic, educational and workplace relationships. The impact of the media, power and violence on gendered relationships is covered. Increased awareness and understanding of gender communication will lead to greater effectiveness, both personally and professionally.
