Corequisites: None Description: This course introduces students to the exciting world of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial process from both a historical and a research perspective. The role and nature of entrepreneurship as a mechanism for creating new ventures and affecting economic development are presented. This course introduces important concepts in entrepreneurship and helps students see the entrepreneurial process through the eyes of the entrepreneur. Students delve into the financial and psychological characteristics of entrepreneurs and investigate viable new ventures.
