This program is an Articulated Pre-Major in Construction Management designed to transfer to Ferris State Univeristy (FSU) for a BS degree in Construction Management. It builds a foundation in basic construction technology, mathematics, science and general education. It includes instruction in marketing, business management, business law basic construction documentation and interpretation, methods and materials used in construction, introduction to building systems, building information modeling (BIM) and architectural graphics.

University/College Admissions Requirements


To be admitted to the Construction Management degree at Ferris State University, students must enter with a minimum of 30 credits and complete the course prerequisites with a “C” or better (2.0 on 4.0 scale). It is required that MATH 115 (MA 107 at GRCC), MATH 120 (MA 108 at GRCC), and PHYS 211 (PH 125 at GRCC), and CONM 112 (AR 125 at GRCC) be completed with a “C” or better prior to entry into the degree. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required, and students will need to submit all official college transcripts with their application. The FSU course rotation (at the GRCC Campus) only begins every other fall semester in the odd years.
