This program is a pre-architecture degree designed to transfer to Lawrence Technological University (LTU) for a Master of Architecture Degree. Students completing this program will be able to transfer to LTU as a junior. It builds a foundation in architectural skills, mathematics, science, and general education.

Students should contact Lawrence Technological University to obtain additional detailed information about transfer requirements. Lawrence Technological University ultimately makes the decisions about how each course will be used to meet the bachelor’s degree requirements. Students should also review the specific admission requirements for Lawrence Technological University and the Master of Architecture program.

GRCC advisors and faculty are available to help students navigate transfer resources and create an individualized transfer plan, including selection of elective courses, which meets all GRCC and Lawrence Technological University requirements.

Graduates of this program will earn an Associate of Arts degree from GRCC and may be eligible to earn the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) credential.

Select two (2) Social Sciences General Education Electives from two (2) different subject areas. You should select courses in alignment with Lawrence Tech University General Education courses.

Select one (1) Lab/Non Lab Natural Sciences General Education Elective from a discipline other than PH.
