The Mechanical Design Certificate Program includes all of the courses to prepare you for an entry level position as an engineering technician. The topics of Computer Aided Design (CAD) using AutoCAD and 3D parametric modeling with SolidWorks are featured in this program. Engineering graphics, industrial tool design, and prototyping (ie. 3D printing) are also covered in this program.
All credits earned in this certificate program may be applied toward the Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences in Mechanical Design.
