Certificate
The Mechanical Design Certificate Program includes all of the courses to prepare you for an entry level position as an engineering technician. The topics of Computer Aided Design (CAD) using AutoCAD and 3D parametric modeling with SolidWorks are featured in this program. Engineering graphics fundamentals and industrial tool design is also covered in this program.
All credits earned in this certificate program may be applied toward the Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences in Mechanical Design.
The following scheme is presented as a guide only. Courses may be taken in any order as long as all requirements (including prerequisites) are met. Total Credits: 33/34
* If taking MA 110 , only one math course is required. In this case, students should choose an elective course to meet the credit hour requirements of the certificate. Mechanical Design Electives
