This degree is designed for students who wish to earn an associate degree without following a specific program. This degree is not meant to be used as a primary transfer degree and does not meet the requirements for the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). This degree allows students the opportunity to take a minimal number of general education classes and explore a vast array of electives to round out the required 60 credits.

General Education Courses
Select a minimum of 15 credit hours from the English Composition, Humanities, Social Science, Natural Sciences & Mathematics, and Wellness courses.
English Composition
Select two of the following courses.
Humanities
Select one Humanities Electives from the following courses.
Social Sciences
All students must take PS 110 to graduate.
Natural Science & Mathematics
Select one course from the list below.
Mathematics - Meets MTA requirements
Mathematics - Does not meet MTA requirements
Natural Science (with Lab)
Wellness
Select one Wellness course. A maximum of two Wellness courses may be used toward graduation.
Program Elective Courses
Once you have selected your English Composition, Humanities, Social Science, Natural Science & Mathematics and Wellness courses, you can take any other GRCC courses to complete your degree. The maximum number of elective credit hours needed to graduate is 45.

TH 114, TH 115, TH 116, TH 214, and TH 214 were removed from the Wellness course options (corrected 3/15/16)
