Corequisites: MTH 116 Description: Students review and develop skills necessary for success in Math for Liberal Arts. Relevant topics include mathematical reasoning techniques, organizing and processing information, communicating mathematical processes, self-identifying as a mathematical thinker, learning and applying academic management skills, and arithmetic calculations relevant to MTH 116 topics. Through scaffolded assignments and activities, MTH 16 will support students who are enrolled in a linked MTH 116 - Mathematics for Liberal Arts Students class. All students who are enrolled in MTH 116 with a Math Placement score between 7 and 29 must alsoenroll in this course.
