Description: This course covers the fundamentals of music including pitch, rhythm, scales and key signatures, intervals, triads and seventh chords, and the analysis of basic harmonic progressions. This course also includes the study of voice-leading through the use of 1st-, 2nd-, and 4th-species counterpoint techniques.
