Corequisites: None Description: Topics covered in MTH 193 include limits of functions, differentiation and integration of polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions, curve sketching, optimization, related rates, selected techniques of integration and an introduction to multivariable calculus. Applications of integration include area, growth, decay and differential equations, with particular focus on applications to economics, life sciences, and social sciences. A graphing calculator is required for this course. MTH 193 is not intended for those curricula requiring MTH 178 , MTH 208 , MTH 248 , or MTH 252
