GH 120 - Therapeutic Relationships


Description
This is an introductory course for health students on how to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.  Students demonstrate the skills of rapport building, active listening, communication styles, interviewing techniques, and group processing skills. Students describe professionalism as it applies to health care in areas of ethics, confidentiality, and patient advocacy.
