Corequisites: None Description: In this course, students learn preparation for patrol, radio and telephone communications, administration procedures, ethics in policing, laws pertaining to civil rights and human relations, cultural awareness and diversity, interpersonal skills, dealing with civil disputes and discussing the different types of patrols. Responding to crimes in progress and dealing with persons with mental disorders is also covered.
