Corequisites: None Description: This course is designed for students who are working in the early childhood field to complete the CDA formal training hours related to Competency Standards III and IV: advancing social and emotional competence, understanding effective positive guidance strategies, and building responsive and supportive relationships with families. Students develop resource collection components for their professional portfolio, write the competency standards, and demonstrate knowledge related to the functional areas: self, social, guidance, and families.
