CIS 149 - Web Design I Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 3 Prerequisites/Other Requirements: CIS 103 (C or Higher)

Corequisites: None Description: Students learn the basics of web design, development and publishing, including how to design and program a web page and how to set up a site and publish it to the internet. In a hands-on environment, students design web pages using HTML and Adobe software and are exposed to design technique principals. In addition, students publish to a web server and analyze web site functionality. Students should have experience with the Internet, fundamental computer literacy and knowledge of the Windows operating prior to taking this course.
