Corequisites: None Description: The primary focus of this course is experimenting with techniques used for the effective manipulation and editing of digital photographs using Photoshop software. The objective is accomplished by using a variety of electronic tools to produce, enhance and correct graphic illustrations and photographs. This course includes an intermediate level of digital image manipulation of images and text including the use of masks, layers, filters, channels, color modes and color adjustments for Print and Web design. Students create individual portfolio work and apply design principles to their digital photography. Students are recommended to take CIS 120 Introduction to Graphic Software / Photoshop / Illustration prior to taking this course if they have little or no experience with imaging software.
