Corequisites: None Description: This course provides the student an understanding of the design, theory, and operation of the internal combustion engine; disassembly, identification, and inspection of automotive engines; use of service manuals; shop procedures; and shop safety. Additional topics covered include engine rebuilding procedures and the use of rebuilding equipment. Recommended Skills: Automotive Technology students must possess the ability to read and comprehend complex technical information and instruction.
