- IRW 98 or above (C or above) OR
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 400 and above OR
- ACT English and Reading combined score 26 and above (valid February 2018 forward) OR
- Accuplacer Writing of 4 and NextGen Reading of 249 and above (valid October 2018 forward) OR
- Accuplacer Writing of 5 above (valid October 2018 forward)
Math Prerequisites: Eligible for MA 107 or Higher; SAT Math Score of 24.5 or Higher
Corequisites: None Description: This course introduces students to the role of the nurse in contemporary nursing practice. Content includes historical aspects of nursing, as well as concepts related to current trends in practice, professionalism, and healthcare policies and guidelines.
