Corequisites: None Description: MA 124 is intended for students majoring in liberal arts or other fields that do not have a specific mathematics requirement. Its purpose is to give students a broad exposure to a variety of real-world applications of mathematics. Topics include voting methods, apportionment, mathematics of finance, number theory, shapes and patterns in geometry, graph theory, counting methods, probability and statistics, reasoning, and logic.
