Corequisites: None Description: This course is a hands-on study in decorating and finishing techniques for cakes with specific instruction on butter cream borders, flowers, flower sprays, writing styles, garland, and figure piping. Exposure to industry current accessories such as the uses of image transferring machines, edible images, novelty cakes and the use of the air brush is provided. Instruction also is given in the production of icing and filling layer cakes.
