Description: The dental hygiene process of care provides the foundation for comprehensive dental hygiene treatment. In this course, students learn how to implement the process of care components that include review of patient assessment data, develop a dental hygiene diagnosis and create a dental hygiene care (treatment) plan. As part of the care plan process, students learn how to complete caries risk and periodontal risk assessments.
