Description: MA 99, Mathematics Literacy, is designed to prepare non-math and non-science majors for MA 124 (Mathematics for Liberal Arts Students). This course is based on learning the strategies people in the real world use to solve problems. Students work individually and in teams to practice these strategies, communicating orally and in writing to demonstrate the processes learned. This course is not intended to prepare students for MA 107 Intermediate Algebra.
