Corequisites: OT 108 Description: This course provides an introduction to the documentation process for occupational therapy assistants with an emphasis on developing skills for clinical practice to meet professional standards and reimbursement guidelines. Additional topics include clinical reasoning skills, role delineation in documentation, use of professional terminology, and ethical and legal considerations related to the medical record. Electronic medical records and their characteristics and use are also addressed.
