MUS 215 - Aural Comprehension III

Prerequisites/Other Requirements: MUS 114  (C or Higher) and MUS 116  (C or Higher)

English Prerequisites: None

Math Prerequisites: None

Corequisites: MUS 213  
Description: This course is an advanced continuation of the aural skills learned in MUS 116 . Emphasis is on singing, aural identification and dictation of scales, intervals, harmonic progressions, melodic patterns, rhythmic patterns, triads and seventh chords. Development of intermediate sight singing techniques as well as skills in notating performed melodic and harmonic musical examples also occurs.  Additional Auralia practice hours are required each week.
