Corequisites: None Description: An investigation of the major art trends in Europe and the Americas from 1850 to the present, focusing on issues of artistic styles, techniques, interpretation of subjects, and social context. Special attention is given to the masters of modern painting. College-level reading is recommended prior to enrolling in this course.
