College Level Prerequisites: None Description: MA 127 is designed to give business, economics, management, life sciences and social sciences students a background in finite mathematics. Topics include linear functions, mathematical models, systems of linear equations and inequalities, matrices, linear programming using both the graphical and the simplex methods, mathematics of finance, sets, counting principles and concepts of probability and statistics. Please check the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) list to see if this course fulfills the Mathematics and Natural Science requirement. Strongly recommended: Grade of C or better in MA 107 or Intermediate Algebra (Algebra 2).
